The Gainesville Leopards boys cross country team placed third at the Decatur Reunion Run Saturday.

The Gainesville High School boys varsity cross country team placed eighth at The Colony Cougar Classic Saturday at Hidden Cove Park on Lake Lewisville.

The Gainesville High School varsity boys cross country team brought home the team championship from the Lindsay Invitational Saturday.

The Gainesville High School boys cross country team had two runners medal at the Ken Garland Invitational hosted by Justin Northwest High School and held at the University of North Texas in Denton Saturday.

The GHS varsity cross country team placed 13th out of 25 teams at a cross country meet in Southlake Saturday.

The Gainesville Leopards varisty and junior varsity cross country teams started the 2011 season at the Frisco ISD Invitational Saturday at Warren Park.
