Brandon Henegar is in his second year as head baseball coach at Gainesville High School.

Before coming to Gainesville, Henegar coached one year at Clifton (2a), spent three years as pitching coach for Wayland Baptist University, and 4 years as varsity assistant at Plainview High (4A). He has also coached the Athletes in Action Baseball team in the New York Collegiate League in summer of 2008.

Coach Henegar played baseball for Wayland Baptist University from 1997 to 2001, graduating with a major in Physical Education and a minor in History.

He is married to Karla Henegar (GHS's Head Volleyball coach) and has 1 son, Kyler, age 7.
