The 9-3A All-District girls basketball team was released this afternoon and the Gainesville Lady Leopards were well represented.

Gainesville junior Ariannah Kemp was selected as the Offensive Most Valuable Player, while younger sister Chandler Kemp, a freshman, was the Co-Defensive Most Valuable Player.

First team All-District selections from GHS included junior Kiarah Manuel, sophomore Brittany Royal and freshman Hali Smith.

Maybe most outstanding was the eight Lady Leopards were named Academic All-District including Ariannah Kemp, Kiarah Manuel, Chandler Kemp, Hali Smith, Brittany Royal, Zhanice Lane, Karly Rhodes and Haley Schumacher.
