The Gainesville Leopards boys soccer team began play at the Lovejoy Tournament Thursday with a 1-1 tie against the McKinney Lions.

McKinney scored their goal in the very first minute of the game. The GHS defense responded and kept that as the only Lion goal the rest of the match. Both Eduardo Franco and Aaron DeLeon had some nice saves as goal keeper.

The Leopards scored early in the second half when Everardo Puente put in a header on a corner kick.
